Soprattutto by Leandro Erlich Continues Its International Journey

The textile artwork Soprattutto, created by Argentine artist Leandro Erlich and edited by El Espartano, continues to expand its international journey. This season, the piece is presented simultaneously in two prominent European cultural venues: it is part of the Hybrids exhibition at Carlo Scarpa’s iconic Negozio Olivetti in Venice, and is available at the Grand Palais Boutique in Paris, on the occasion of the major retrospective dedicated to the artist.

Made from 100% wool and specially woven by El Espartano, Soprattutto translates an “aerial view” inspired by agricultural geometries and the traces of human intervention on the landscape into textile form. Through contours, textures, and chromatic variations, the rug artwork evokes the visual language of a topographic map. The rugs are part of a limited edition and are signed by the artist.

Internationally recognized for his immersive installations and for exploring the relationship between perception, space, and reality, Leandro Erlich invited El Espartano to materialize this unique 200 x 300 cm rug, developed with artisanal precision and a textile interpretation faithful to the artist’s visual universe.

The continued presence of Soprattutto in these cultural contexts reaffirms the potential of the rug as both an artistic medium and a collectible piece.
