Tangará Palace
Sao Paulo, Brazil
A residence in São Paulo, whose origins date back to 1940, is today one of the city’s most exclusive hotels and a showcase of its vibrant energy.
As a romantic gesture, Baby Pignatari, an Italian-Brazilian businessman, commissioned the construction of this palace for his wife. When the relationship did not prosper, the Tangará was abandoned half-finished. Years later, the Oetker Collection converted the palace into this magnificent hotel.
The design of the spaces was in charge of the local studio Anastassiadis, with whom we worked for the decoration of the floors. The design of the fabrics and the work of creating each strand were essential for the rooms to be balanced.
