From more than 4,300 entries submitted from 91 countries, the Dezeen Awards 2026<\/strong> have announced the shortlists across their Architecture, Interiors and Design categories. ROOM<\/strong>, the collection we presented during this year\u2019s Milan Design Week, has been selected as one of eight finalists in Textile Design<\/strong>, within the Design categories.<\/p>\n\n

Curated by Lidewij Edelkoort<\/strong>, ROOM brings together eleven limited-edition pieces developed with Carole Baijings, Kiki van Eijk, Ina Meijer, Mariola L\u00f3pez Mari\u00f1o<\/strong> and Edelkoort herself. The collection explores different interpretations of the room as an intimate and personal space and was presented in April at Galleria Rossana Orlandi in Milan. <\/p>\n\n

All eleven rugs were produced entirely in Argentina by El Espartano, using 100% wool and the hand-tufting technique. ROOM marked our third consecutive participation in Milan Design Week and continued the work we have been developing with Edelkoort and leading figures in international design. <\/p>\n\n

The selection places ROOM among the eight projects on the Textile Design shortlist. The winners of the Dezeen Awards 2026 will be announced on 16 Novembe<\/strong>r, during the awards ceremony at the Royal Opera House in London. <\/p>\n\n

In the meantime, shortlisted projects are taking part in the Dezeen Awards public vote<\/strong>, which is open until 16 October.<\/p>\n\n
