We’re heading back to Milan with two new exhibitions featuring mirocomachiko, curated by Li Edelkoort, and Marta Minujín
From April 7 to 13, we return to Milan to take part in the world’s most renowned Design Week. This time, we’ll be presenting two new collections that blend contemporary art and textile craftsmanship.

For the second year in a row, we’ve developed a new collection in collaboration with the esteemed Lidewij Edelkoort. Based on the work of Japanese artist mirocomachiko, Instinct was born. Comprising seven textile pieces produced by El Espartano and carefully curated by Edelkoort, the collection explores Machiko’s artistic sensibility through her brushstrokes, colors, and textures, capturing her intuitive view of the animal world. The charming Rossana Orlandi Gallery once again becomes the perfect setting for our exhibition.

We’ll also be presenting the global launch of Intertwined Concepts in collaboration with iconic Argentine artist Marta Minujín at Alcova Milano. This marks the first public exhibition of this series of monumental textile works, developed from the artist’s namesake sculpture. The fluorescent colors that define the original piece are reimagined in this new textile dimension, creating a vibrant dialogue with the historic architecture of Villa Bagatti Valsecchi — a perfect backdrop for this leading figure in immersive, experimental pop art.
