El Espartano and Agustina Bottoni at Paris Design Week
From September 3–8, El Espartano will take part in Paris Design Week 2025, coinciding with the Maison&Objet fair, to unveil Trayecto, our latest collaboration with Argentine designer Agustina Bottoni. The project will be featured within Factory, the curated circuit dedicated to works that bridge cultural identity and global projection, at Galerie Joseph in Le Marais—one of Paris’s most vibrant design districts.

Crafted in pure wool using the hand-tufting technique, Trayecto translates Bottoni’s hand-drawn strokes into soft forms and undulating edges. The interplay of cut and bouclé pile at varying heights creates a sculptural texture and a visual rhythm that invites the eye and hand to follow its movement. Joining our Alexa line, the collection reflects a thoughtful approach to materiality and the art of living.
Argentina’s presence at Factory will bring together El Espartano and Agustina Bottoni with a group of selected studios and designers, in a collective exhibition curated by journalist Vivian Urfeig. The show will stage a dialogue between artisanal tradition and fresh contemporary perspectives, featuring Bilu, Ceferina, Delfina Velar de Irigoyen, IWISH, Fiumine, IOUS Studio, Hache Objetos, Mantara, María Picci, Oblumo, Orpnimi, and Isto Studio.
This participation—following our recent presentations during Milan Design Week, with Lidewij Edelkoort and Miroco Machiko at Rossana Orlandi Gallery, and with Marta Minujín at Alcova Milano—underscores our ongoing commitment to showcasing Argentine textile design on the world’s most influential stages.
