Nomad" Design
Our pouf Nómade arises under the framework of our Design & Sustainability Lab with the aim of promoting conscious design and traditional textile techniques. Together with the weaver Priscila Estrada, we developed an object that rescues wool yarns left over from our production processes and re-signifies them in a new design object.
On her 4-square foot loom, Priscila hand-weaves the fabric that gives shape to Nómade. The inking is done by hand with a wooden brush, adding a distinctive touch, with random patterns that defy control and symmetry.
