Furoshiki Ro Plastic

by Luciana González Franco

Together with industrial designer Luciana González Franco, we developed Furoshiki, a collection of objects for everyday use that recovers and resignifies remnants of our modular carpet lines, including seats and containers, and is inspired by the “furoshiki”, a traditional wrapper from Japanese culture made from a quadrangular piece of fabric. Its use allows the same object to have multiple functions by folding and tying the fabric in different ways.

Furoshiki promotes environmental care and talks about the permanence of objects and traditions over time.
