Erlich at Malba

Renowned Argentine artist Leandro Erlich invited El Espartano to collaborate in the creation of his new work “Gordian Knot”. It is a limited edition rug that was presented as part of “Liminal”, the artist’s major anthological exhibition, recently shown at MALBA. A design inspired by Sous de Ciel, the artist’s installation at the Parisian store Le Bon Marché. Through the fabric, Gordian Knot reproduces the effects of optical illusion and three-dimensionality of the original work. Each piece is delivered signed by the artist, thus certifying its authenticity.
