Li Edelkoort’s Garden

During Milan Design Week, we presented the “Garden” collection, curated by Lidewij Edelkoort. The exhibition, located at the Rossana Orlandi gallery, includes nine rugs and a pouf, all woven in 100% wool. The pieces stand out for their diversity of colors and textures, with some exhibiting a single height of cut pile and others showing variations of three heights along with combinations of cut and bouclé pile textures.

Originating from the sketches of Brazilian artist Sergio Machado, the “Garden” collection reflects the essence of manual techniques such as watercolor and collage. In translating these designs into fabrics, we have preserved the organic style, free stroke and spontaneity characteristic of the artist’s creative process.

The exhibition will be accessible to the public from April 15 through April 21, from 9:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., except Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., at the Galleria Rossana Orlandi, located at Via Matteo Bandello 14, Milano.
