Kingdoms by Cabinet Oseo
From nature to textiles
Nature at its most intimate scale was the inspiration for Kingdoms, a collection of carpets developed in collaboration with Cabinet Óseo. Based on the microscopic observation of the plant and animal world, artists Celina Saubidet and Marina Molinelli Wells created three pieces that explore three-dimensionality in textiles.
Crisálida, Irupé and Banano transform natural elements into textile works, using a variety of heights and textures to achieve greater realism. The circular and irregular shapes that characterize the collection also provide a differential that makes them unique.
The collection has its origin in the exhibition Kingdoms exhibited by Cabinet Oseo at the National Museum of Decorative Art, Buenos Aires.
