Translating movement: El Espartano starts a new project with artist Julio Le Parc
We are proud to announce the beginning of a new project with international artist Julio Le Parc, master of kinetic art and central figure of Latin American art. In collaboration with Atelier Le Parc, we will develop a series of limited edition carpets that will be released next year.

Renowned for his exploration of light, color and movement, Le Parc is one of the great references of contemporary art. Co-founder in 1960 in Paris of the Groupe de Recherche d’Art Visuel (GRAV), he promoted a new way of understanding the relationship between the spectator and the work, proposing active and immersive experiences. His work, awarded at the 1966 Venice Biennale, marked a turning point in visual perception and in artistic research on instability, rhythm and participation.

This project is developed within El Espartano Editor, the space from which we transfer the creative universe of renowned artists to the textile language. Soon we will share more details about this project. You can keep up to date with the news through our networks and our website.
